Gemplus operates platforms for 17 North American carriers for SIM card provisioning and remote updates. For these operators, we deliver the entire turnkey solution, from design and project management to activation. Gemplus' North American Operation Center, located in Dallas, Texas, provides OTA (over-the-air) initialization of SIM cards. By providing and operating the entire solution, Gemplus eliminates the integration challenges for smaller operators and enables them to offer advanced services without incurring the costs of an in-house operation.
